Awais Khan is a Pakistani road cyclist from Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, who built his career through national competition before representing Pakistan at major international events. His documented competitive results go back to at least 2015, when he was involved in domestic road races and was recorded as a winner of the RSF Cycle Race and Tour of Mohmand in biographical records.
In 2016, Khan competed at the Asian Cycling Championships in the Under-23 individual time trial, finishing 10th. He also represented Pakistan at the South Asian Games, where he was part of the team that won silver in the team time trial.
His international career reached another milestone in 2017, when he was selected to represent Pakistan at the UCI Road World Championships in Bergen, Norway. The Pakistan Cycling Federation announced Khan and Arslan Anjum as Pakistan’s representatives for the championship.
Khan also produced an important domestic performance in 2019 at the Tour de Khunjerab. Riding for WAPDA, he won the third stage from Aliabad Hunza to Sost, covering the 82-kilometre stage in 1 hour, 23 minutes and 23 seconds.
